Use Instagram, Vimeo, X, Facebook, SoundCloud, and similar links clearly even when they open outside the chat.
Help customers understand what will open before they tap.
Explain the link before showing it
Some platforms are shown as normal outside links instead of an in-chat media preview.
Tell customers what the link is for: gallery, review, full video, announcement, audio sample, portfolio, or social proof.
Keep the link near the right topic
Example: Portfolio. Customers asking for past work can see our latest project photos on Instagram. The link opens our official Instagram profile: https://instagram.com/example
Do not put many social links together without explaining when each one helps.
Expect an outside-site warning
