Show YouTube Videos in AI Answers
Use YouTube when a video helps customers understand faster than text alone.
Teach the AI when a video should appear in the answer.
Use it for topics that need to be seen
YouTube works well for menu previews, store atmosphere, product demos, tutorials, event highlights, room tours, and before-and-after examples.
Do not add a video by itself. Explain what the video shows and which customer question it answers.
Write the teaching block clearly
Example: Brunch menu. Customers asking what brunch includes should see this answer. Our brunch includes buffet dishes, coffee, seating, and weekend specials. The video shows the food table, seating area, and atmosphere: https://youtube.com/watch?v=example
Keeping the explanation and link in the same block helps the AI show the right video for the right question.
Use only appropriate public videos
Use official public videos that you have the right to share.
A video may not play for every customer if the platform, region, browser, or privacy setting blocks it. Always include the key information in text too.
Quick checklist
- The video answers a real customer question?
- The answer explains what the video shows?
- Is the video link official and public?
- Is the key information also written in text?
- Is the video preview tested on phone and desktop?
