Prepare Product Images for a Fast, Polished Catalog
Crop, adjust, filter, and optimize catalog images before upload while keeping products accurate.
Create consistent product images without sending oversized originals to every visitor.

Frame for the theme you will use
Choose the original ratio when the full object matters. Use a controlled crop when the catalog theme expects consistent portrait, square, or landscape cards.
Keep enough space around the product so tall layouts and mobile crops do not cut off important parts.
Use adjustments to correct, not invent
Brightness, contrast, saturation, rotation, flip, and simple filters can make a group of photos feel consistent. They should not change the product color or condition in a misleading way.
Compare the edited image with the real product before uploading.
Let the device create efficient files
The editor creates a WebP image and a smaller thumbnail on the customer device before upload. The larger image supports the detail view, while the thumbnail reduces data use in the catalog list.
Wait for the optimization and upload state to finish before closing the editor.
Use a repeatable photo standard
Use similar camera height, background, lighting, and product scale across a category. For food, preserve the natural shape and color. For B2B products, show enough detail to identify the part and finish.
A consistent catalog looks more premium than a collection of heavily filtered images.
Quick checklist
- The entire product is visible where needed?
- Color remains truthful?
- The crop fits the selected theme?
- WebP and thumbnail optimization completed?
- The image still looks sharp on the detail sheet?
- The file contains no private or copyrighted material you cannot publish?
